Softmarket's RSS Reader2 launched Print E-mail
Written by Andrei
Thursday, 25 May 2006

RSSReader2 is yet another news feeds aggregator for joomla. The approach is not to import the news into Joomla’s content system, but to use RSSReader2 as a "stand alone" part of your site, similar to what "Lylilna" provides.

Softmarket provides in this version two display styles for the feeds, each with two options for displaying the feed content. As for this version 1.0.3 DOMIT rss parser (joomla standard), and magPieRSS(3rd party well known parser class) are used to parse the feeds (ATOM or RSS)

The component is using a separate stylesheet for the output, so you can adapt it to your template/ needs.
