Osskins.com, the prime template designer for clean websites built with Mambo/Joomla CMS released a sexy template this week.
This new design, called Eye, features a colorful and centered layout, with a horizontal menu at the top and ample space for a creative banner right under its logo. The template is an excellent solution for artsy websites or for creative professionals.

Joomplates.com released MP Chumash. MP Chumash is a Mambo/Joomla template package which includes five different templates. All templates based on the same layout but comes with differend colors. The package also includes the Photoshop source files for the five differend templates.
The MP Chumash template based on a fixed two colums layout optimized for screenresolutions of 800x600 or more. The code is XHTML 1.0 transitional and the template is tested with Firefox, Internet Explorer, Netscape and Opera browsers.
It is made for business sites as well as for blogs or other personal pages and smaller communities.

A long wet weekend has resulted in the first template to come out of The J! Factory. Inspired by the K2 theme for Wordpress by digitalbonsai.com this is a simple high impact design.
The template is variable width, two column layout with split menus and text resizing. Images have been kept to a minimum providing for a fast loading template. Just to make things even more interesting there are seven colour variations available. All seven are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license (that means they are free).

Joomlart is glad to introduce the first template of the new year called JA Rigel. It is a two columns based, optimized for all Joomla 1.0.x and Mambo 4.5.2/4.5.3 versions.
The template package includes 2 versions with differenet menu systems. version 1 utilizes Joomlart 100% CSS Pill Menu + intergrated Submenu employed on the Joomla.org website, the 2nd version comes with the well know JA Flash Menu which best used with 2 level menu systems. Both versions provide a great way to organize your site and keep track of the section you are in via the top nav bar and the pathway.

The JamboWorks Template Club has released it's January 2006 Template. Internet Gazette was created in response to existing club members requests to create a ‘ezine’ style template with that distinctive JamboWorks touch. This template provides supreme flexibility due to it’s highly configurable nature. Some of it’s great features include:
- 4 built-in color variants ( Dark, Light, Beige, PGA )
- The ability to configure small, wide, variable-max, and full/liquid widths
- The ability to specify left or center aligned on the page
- Suckerfish based drop-down menu with ability to indicate active menu
- Fully collapsable module positions (9 included)
