GLOBODIGITAL.net updates its Support Center Joomla / Mambo Help desk component, further enhancing its usability and compatibility with external accounting/billing/reporting systems.
One of the major enhancements is introduction of workgroup template themes, allowing you granular control over the look and feel of each workgroup, much in the same way that you can customise Joomla / Mambo templates per menu item. Language support has also been extended into templates, minimising the need to modify common words in every template file.

CMS Lounge released a new Mambo/Joomla template today. It's called tem_youcan and it's a fixed-width centered design, with a three-column frontpage and two column inside pages.
The template would work well for a startup company or a non-profit site with lots of information. It could in fact also work well with a clean and straightforward news portal website or a lively blog.

Joomlalingo.com has recently released a new addition to their Joomla template collection called SCIFI. SCIFI is the June 2006 template for the Joomlalingo template club
SCIFI template comes with an Alien type of look and design and can be used for just about anything, even company profile sites or another business site just by changing up the header image.

Joomplates.com released MP Akon, a dark general -purpose Template for Mambo 4.5.1+ and Joomla 1.0+. It can be used for business homepages, communities, personal pages, blogs, shops and many other types of websites. The MP Akon template package includes 36 additional header images for your random image module and it also includes the used Photoshop source file.
The templates layout based on a two colums design. It is optimized for screenresolutions of 1024x768 or more and provides nine different modulepositions: left, right, user 1, user 2, user 3, user 5, user 6, user 7, user 8 and banner. The Akon templates code is XHTML 1.0/CSS 2.0 valid and it is designd without any tables.

CMS Lounge released a great new set of templates for Mambo and Joomla today, called onsat_series. These are 7 templates with a similar layout, but different color schemes. They all follow CMS Lounge's trademark clean design and CSS-driven layout.
You can use these templates separately for different projects, or in the same project by assigning them to different sections of the same website. The opportunities are many.
