With an investment of $125, you get the Dreamweaver template, video
tutorials, and sample templates. Brian wrote "We will continue to add features to help improve
productivity and ease of use. We also will continue to support the
Mambo Community thru GPL and added value products and help where
needed." Even if you don't plan on buying the dreamweaver extension kit, be sure
and take a look at his website, he has a copy of the mambo schema, and
various tips on templates in general.

April2005 is a light colored, 2 column, tableless, fixed width, centered design with a nice horizontal slide down menu developed by Mr. Jinx. The menu works in IE 5.x+, FireFox, Opera 7+ and Safari. When JavaScript is turned off, you will still see the dropdowns appearing in newer browsers such as Firefox and Opera. For Internet Explorer they have added a side menu that shows the second level menu links. The menu is SEF compatible. Search engine will be able to crawl your menu links. Support was added for Mambo's cache system. This reduces page generating with about 1 second and the menus are aware of the current active item

The core team has announced Arno Zijlstra and
Johan
Janssens being added to the Mambo Developement team. Arno (aka
Jick) who's known for his nice forum component “SimpleBoard”. Johan
(aka Mr Jinx) is also known for DocMan, the best documents manager for
Mambo.
In addition, the Documentation Team has a new joint
co-ordinator, Shayne Bartlett, the author of the Workware suite of components
and modules, a new Translation Team has also been created. This team lead
by Trijnie Wanders will seek to bring together the efforts of the many
local community groups supporting language packs for Mambo.
