Mambo 4.5.2 Released

After a long wait, the latest release of Mambo is here to fix a many of the bugs and annoyances found in Mambo 4.5.1, this is mainly a maintenance release (It includes nearly 200 bug fixes) with a few new features added to improve the quality of this release

Some of the highlights are:

• New version of solar flare template (Solar Flare II )
• Improved help system
• V-card capabilities have been added to the contacts component.
• Added parameters to web links component
• 3 new Mambots for code highlighting, content search and email cloaking
• Menu Manager and Modules description enhancements.
• Libraries and API enhancements added (For Developers)
• New component help system in place.

Four new templates by Roland Kammerer

Roland Kammerer from http://www.rkwebdesign.de has released four templates for Mambo 4.5.1. All of the templates are fixed width and have been released under GPL. The demo and Gallery has been updated, check them out today.

• RK Bluewave is a peach / aqua template that has a horizontal menu of icons.   This  template does not install normally,  you  will need to  unzip the file first, where you will find a readme.txt, a links.php and another zip file.  The links.php file is used to modify the icon menu.

• RK Dreamwoman, and RK Dreamwoman2 are light transparent templates.

• RK Notebook is a light transparent template with a notebook theme.

Three new templates have been added to our filebase by www.mambomammoth.com.  All three templates are released under gpl for mambo 4.5.1.  Each one is a fixed width design using tables.  The gallery and demo areas have been updated for your viewing pleasure.

• MMGlobe is a professional looking template with a glowing green globe in the header image.
• MMPaper is a quiet, professional looking template with a parchment paper look. The aim of this template was: simplicity.
• MMRedHead is a red  and grey template that is released under GPL.

We have released two new templates by Will Buckingham at www.mambomango.com.  Both templates are utilizing tables and are released under GPL for Mambo 4.5.1.

• Greenmango,  is a green colored, fixed width template. It has a very simple, blog style design and therefore loads very fast.
• Zen Frog has a calligraphic feel and a friendly frog to keep you company.  It is also using tables, and released under GPL for 4.5.1

Five new templates have been released today by PixelBunyiP.  All of the templates are table based, and are released under gpl.  Be sure and check out the website at www.PixelBunyiP.com. A tutorial section has been added, and you will find icons for both Simpleboard, and Docman.  In additon,  there are templates available to purchase.    The gallory and demo areas have been updated, for your acces.  Down load your copies today.

• City Scape is a shimmering, dark blue and black, fixed-width template. It supports MOS 4.5.1
• Country Gingham has a header with an aqua sky, and a gingham module area. It is a fixed width template that is released under gpl.
• Dark Star is a striking dark blue/white/grey variable-width template with gold accents and a graphic header. It's compatible with Mambo 4.5.1
• Garden Scape is a fixed-width template with a satiny dark green background and gold highlights here and there. It has a fresh floral header graphic that can have your site name edited in with your favourite graphics editor.
• Mandarine Sky has a nice size header with ample space for the sitename, peach colored with a butterfly on each side. It is table based and released under gpl

Alfabiz and Fishy V3 templates released.

Two new 4.5.1 templates have been released from http://mambo.athoss.net. Both templates are released under Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial ShareAlike License.

Alfabiz is a grey and light green template.  Fishy V3 is colored orange with an attractive tropical fish.  Both templates make use of tables.  These are the first two templates released by this author.  In addition to these two templates, there are templates that can be purchased at his website.  The Gallery and Demo site has been updated for your viewing pleasure.
