Added to the download section and the gallery today the competition wallpapers, in addition we added another Mambo wallpaper which was a late entry and didnt make it to the competition, the new wallpaper is called Everybody Mambo which was submitted by Ric from www.waterandstone.com

 Today we relesaed "XPlike Plesk Blue" template made by SW-Soft, a leader in control panels, VPS and Hosting automation solutions. The template comes with the default installation of Mambo by "application vault" a script installer for Plesk control panel.
We made it available for those who don't have plesk control panel and would like to use its nice XP like java menu. The template was released under the GPL license scheme, and it is now available from our download section.

 The wallpaper competition is now over and i am pleased to announce the winner of the first prize, and the winner is
Cory Webb for his great wallpaper "Flame" which has a very professional look and feel and comes in three versions, dark grey, black or navy blue background, we only displayed the grey version which we believe to be the best one, Congratulation Cory, a job well done.
The winners for remaining 4 prizes are:

Unfortunately, due to a voting script malfunction many invalid votes have been recorded by the system which made it impossible to maintain a fair competition therefore we decided to take the voting part of the competition offline.
Voting will take place internally by MamboHUT team and Mambo core developers team. The final results will be published tomorrow Thursday, September 23 at 11.59 P.M EST

Mambosolution has released a new version of Mambo toolbar dreamweaver extension which is now called "template builder extension", the extension is a very handy tool to assist templates designers in quickly adding the required php elements to their templates for Mambo 4.5.1, Make sure to check it out.

 Added to the download section today three new templates for Mambo 4.5.1.x , Boxed is colorful multi-template with a custom module, all included in one package, this template take advatage of the new multi-template feature in Mambo 4.5.1, make sure to check the readme.txt file for information on how to install the template
Charity template is a fixed width with a typical 2 column and a nice header, Purple heart is variable width and grey colors, they are now available from our download section and the templates gallery

John Lyons from Mambosolutions is currently working on a new tutorial for creating Mambo templates.
In his tutorial he uses dreamweaver with his mambo toolbar dreamweaver extension and MSAS (Mambo Stand Alone Server) as a developing platform. The tutorial is extensive and comes with screenshots for every step along the way, this is a great tutorial for newbie, Make sure to check it out Mambosolutions

 Released recently the first Mambo 4.5.1 template called simple church by Ben Brown from newhopeowasso.com, this template will not install on Mambo 4.5.0.x versions, the template is fixed width with a large header image of Jesus carrying the cross, make sure to check it out.
