 Today, Mambo Open Source, the finest open source CMS available has won the Linux User & Developer award 2004 for "Best Linux or Open Source Software"
Mambo was up against some of the big boys including: KDE, Firebird SQL and eGroupware
The award was received by Robert Castley accompanied by Ron Bakker (Core Developers Team Leads) at the Lancester Hotel awards dinner.
Congratulation to the Core team and the community behind them.

 Released today a new template by Trijnie called tdwpersonalfli which is another variation of her beautiful tdwpersonalpfi template except this one features a nice pink and purple/blue flower in the header and the color of the template's layout matches the flower color, make sure to check it out at the DEMO.

 This is the quick component tutorial that goes with the module tutorial. This will insert "Hello World" into the database. It will also allow you to edit it, or add new messages as you see fit. This tutorial will not cover setting up categories, the search function, or page navagation. This tutorial does assume you have a very basic grasp of php.

 Session Design is back with more templates for Mambo community, he released today a new template called MsHome, a variable width template with silver and blue colors, the template PNG file is also available from the templates source files section
On the top of that, Session Design has also provided the PNG file for "Lady Pink" template, make sure to check it out.
Both templates are available from the download section as well as the DEMO
