Released today a new great little tool by Eugene from kizhakethil.net (Mamboserver Forum Nickname: eugsadhu) to ease the creation of Mambo template's XML file used by Mambo Open Source to automatically install templates.
This tool will save you the time used to manually type in the files name included in your template's zip file to the templateDetails.xml file.
This add-on was tested by MamboHut and is working like a charm; download your copy from Mambo Add-ons section. Read the file description for a quick instruction on how to use it, post any problems to the forum

Added to the download section today two of the best easy to follow step by step template tutorials for MOS beginners. the tutorials show you how to create your own template to work with MOS 4.5, those tutorials were written a few month before MOS 4.5 becomes stable, so you may find some outdated information but they are still very helpful to start your templating journey with.
Also added a new CSS guide for those who like to modify their template CSS file, it includes a description of every class used by MOS 4.5, the guide is still work in progress, we only made this available now for those who can't wait any longer. This guide is a good reference for new as well as experienced users, make sure to grab your copy from the download section.

Added to the Add-ons download section today, the popular dreamweaver extension v1.7 by mamboSkins from mambosolutions.com, his extension will allow you to insert all the necessary code into your index.php file to create your own template for Mambo Open Source 4.5, version 1.0.7 is fully compatible with MOS 4.5 stable release. 
To all Mambo users: A security bug has been found today for Mambo Open Source 4.5 version 1.0.0 and 1.0.1, it is advised that you upgrade your MOS installation to the latest release.
