Opened for Mambers today MamboFAQ.com, a new Mambo site for all Mambo users worldwide, the site is devoted to collecting FAQ and answers about every aspect of Mambo CMS in over 20 languages which will serve as a reference for all Mambers to help their fellow Mambo newbies getting up to speed with Mambo.
MamboFAQ success depends on everyones contribution, whether youre a newbie asking a question or experienced user answering the question, everyone is welcome to participate, MamboFAQ is also looking for more team players who can review, edit and publish FAQ and answers. Robert Castley, the project manager of Mambo CMS project has resigned from the project manager role today. Robert has led Mambo for the past 3 years, he started his journey with Mambo with a small and unknown CMS to one of the best open source CMS projects worldwide. MamboHUT team would like to thank Robert for all the time, effort and dedication he contributed to Mambo over the past 3 years and we wish him all the happiness and success in his life.
Andrew Eddie will be assuming the project manager role.

Arthur Konze of Mamboportal.com has written a quick and easy to follow tutorial on how to convert your template from Mambo 4.5 to Mambo 4.5.1, the tutorial can be found at his website using the following link.
We encourage all designers to take the time and convert their current 4.5 templates to the new version 4.5.1, we are now accepting templates for Mambo 4.5.1. Please use the "Submit Templates" link available from your user menu when you login to upload your updated template.

A new version of Mambo is out today, Mambo 4.5.1a, which released primarily to fix a number of bugs and security issues found in previous versions. Its recommended to update your version to the leatest release.
An update in the template engine, specifically in Mambo pathway which has been moved to mosPathWay() function, has made it a necessity to update your 4.5.1 template to accommodate the new change. Mambo will still support the current pathway include method until version 4.5.2.
